NED by Kembo

In 2008, we launched a new label: NED by Kembo. The idea is to ask various leading designers, at regular intervals, to create contemporary furniture programmes ‘in the spirit of Willem Gispen’ for this label. To get the ball rolling, a number of tables and chairs designed by Willem Hendrik Gispen (WHG) have been relaunched, in cooperation with interior designer Bart Vos. This WHG programme is produced with today’s techniques, while retaining the original design. Now finished in new materials and colours, these pieces show that the designs are still entirely up to date.
